Anatolian Fortress
In historical documents, the fortress was called as, “Guzelce Fortress”. In order to increase the level of security, Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror reinforced it with 2m thick wall and three watch towers. Additionally, the fortress also served as a military chechpoint after it fell to the hands of the Ottoman Army after the Conquest of the Constantinapole. Although it suffered from the damages from time to time, it went through a lot of restorations and repairment. Today, the fortress is turned into an open air museum where the concerts take place. In the fortress, you can watch the marvellous landscape of Istanbul from one of the most sightseeing and picturesque sight. We recommend you visiting and taking as many photos as you can.
