Egyptian Spice Market
Misir means Egypt in Turkish and the other name of this bazaar is Egyptian Bazaar, because the sellers used to sell spices and herbs which were brought from Egypt. And this bazaar was built in 1664.
It was known as a place where shops sold only spices during the Ottoman Period. But today there only few spices. The rest of them sell Turkish delights, dried fruit, jewelry, drapery etc.
It is open everyday and closing at 7 o’clock.
